Axes: X follows plate width B and Y follows plate length L. N > 0 is compression. Mx varies pressure along Y; My varies pressure along X. Vx and Vy are in-plane shear forces. Mz is used only for elastic anchor-group torsional shear.
This is a preliminary, linear-elastic base-plate assessment. It is not a complete EN 1993-1-8 or AISC design and does not check concrete breakout, pull-out, pry-out, welds, grout, local buckling or nonlinear plate behaviour. User-defined allowable values must be established independently.
Contact is a rigid-plate, linear pressure plane with zero tensile pressure and an exact polygonal compression zone. Anchor tension and contact are separate preliminary equilibrium envelopes; their stiffness compatibility is not solved. Plate bending uses independent cantilever strips at qmax. Anchor shear is distributed elastically, including Mz torsion.
