The tool uses a linear Euler-Bernoulli beam model and the finite element method. It assumes small displacements and linear-elastic material behavior and neglects shear deformation, geometric nonlinearity, yielding, buckling, vibration, local support effects and the requirements of specific standards. Verify the results before design use.
