Geometry validity: Feddersen finite-width correction; 0 < a/W < 0.5. The tool limits a/W to 0.45.
Geometry source: Feddersen finite-width correction, as catalogued in USAF DTD Handbook Section 11.4.2R = σmin/σmax. For R ≤ 0, operational Kmin = 0 is used to form ΔK; crack closure and overload retardation are not modelled.
Paris describes the central propagation regime; Walker represents the R-ratio influence and Forman acceleration toward Kc. The ΔKth threshold, crack closure, overload retardation, corrosion and the full propagation curve are not modelled.
