Simplified pump curve: Hₚ(Q) = H₀ − aQ².
The model describes steady, single-phase incompressible-liquid flow in a closed pipe network.
Distributed losses use Darcy-Weisbach and minor losses use user-supplied K coefficients. The pump model represents only the simplified function used in the project.
The model excludes transients, water hammer, cavitation, compressibility, temperature changes, multiphase flow, controls and code-based design.
