The tool uses a linear small-signal Thiele-Small model and a simplified lumped model of the enclosure and port. It does not include suspension and motor nonlinearities, power compression, voice-coil heating, port turbulence and noise, enclosure resonances, panel vibration, cone breakup, directivity, diffraction, room effects or manufacturing tolerances. The theoretical SPL is a half-space radiation approximation. Verify the results with measurements, specialist simulation and manufacturer data.
