The tool uses a linear-elastic planar-truss model with pin-jointed nodes and members carrying axial force only. It excludes bending stiffness, eccentricities, geometric and material nonlinearities, second-order effects, gaps, contact, buckling as a stiffness-changing phenomenon, dynamic loading and automatic requirements of specific standards. The Euler diagnostic is only an idealized auxiliary check. Verify results independently before design use.
